DEEPEN team member Hayley James recently participated in the Annual Conference of the Pensions Policy Research Group in Ireland. The conference is aimed at researchers and policymakers in Ireland to discuss, debate and develop knowledge about pensions policy.
Hayley participated in the second session, Time for Automatic Enrolment?, with a presentation examining the experience of automatic enrolment for savers in the UK to highlight potential learnings for Ireland. The session concluded with a panel where the speakers were joined by Tim Duggan, Assistant Secretary General, Department of Social Protection.
